Appeal for Terminally ill Cancer Patients

Terminal illness is a disease that cannot be cured or adequately treated and that is reasonably expected to result in the death of the patient within a short period of time. This term is more commonly used for progressive diseases such as cancer & advanced heart disease.

In medicine, nursing and the allied health professions, end-of-life care (EoLC) refers to health care, not only of patients in the final hours or days of their lives, but more broadly care of all those with a terminal illness or terminal condition that has become advanced, progressive and incurable.

We provide such care at CMC Hospital at Koirengei Imphal. The Chaplin visits them often. The doctors and nurses spend more time with them. Our counsellors provide their valuable time. Our domestic staff and health workers devote their time for such patients. To provide their every need, we appeal again for generous contribution. You don’t need to pay us in cash or cheque. We invite your kind presence and personally give them something. That ‘something’ is not what they really want. They want your love and affection which does not cost you much.
